For the Filtration and Chromatography Consumables department at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH at the Göttingen site, we are looking for a Development Engineer (x|f|m) as soon as possible.In this responsible position, you will coordinate the technical aspects of innovative development projects for products that excite our customers in the life sciences industry. In doing so, you make a strategically important contribution to the future development of drugs and vaccines. This position is available for full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Responsibilities

With your engineering expertise, you hold a key position in development projects, contribute ideas and find cutting-edge, sustainably designed solutions, primarily for products that meet the high expectations of leading customers in the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industries As a Development Engineer, you support the coordination of all technical product development tasks, analyze product requirements, identify critical parameters, and implement them effectively in new product innovations Throughout the development process – from the initial product idea to product transfer – you apply industry-standard methods and tools such as DOE, Six Sigma, and CAD Your strong communication skills enable you to build a network of internal and external interfaces, acting as a reliable and effective communicator for your projects You will take on responsibility for specific product groups. Overall, you will make a valuable contribution to innovative product development projects on an international level

You have successfully completed a degree, ideally in engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field (e.g., biotechnology). You bring relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned fields, particularly in product development and project work In our dynamic work environment, you stand out through your independent, organized, and proactive working style. As a team player, you value and actively foster a positive and motivating team atmosphere You possess strong language skills, an analytical mindset, and confidently represent your responsibilities as an excellent communicator both internally and externally You are familiar with working with MS Office applications as well as analytical methods such as FMEA or risk analysis; knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
