Job Description

Teamwork is dreamwork:

You support the web team in daily SEO operations, focusing on technical aspects and analysis

Dive into Technical SEO:

You assist with technical SEO tasks such as site audits, performance analysis (Core Web Vitals), schema markup implementation, log file analysis, and identifying technical impediments to crawling and indexing

Data & Analysis:

You help monitor SEO performance using various tools, contribute to building and maintaining monitoring dashboards, and perform keyword research and competitive analysis

Automation & Scripting Support:

You utilize your basic Python skills to assist with automating repetitive SEO tasks, data extraction, and analysis; exploring and implementation of AI applications as POC for SEO is a big plus

Contribute to Projects:

You support the team with technical SEO considerations during website updates, migrations, A/B testing, and ensure SEO best practices are implemented

Your Profile

Study field:

You are currently studying Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Business Informatics, or a similar technical or analytical field of study

Interests:

You have a strong interest in Search Engine Optimization (especially technical SEO) and the digital landscape. You are eager to learn and apply new technical skills to solve problems

Technical Skills:

You possess basic Python programming skills and are willing to improve it. You ideally have foundational knowledge of SEO principles and ideally some familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals). Experience with data analysis or basic AI/Machine Learning concepts is a plus

Tools:

You have very good MS Office skills, particularly Excel for data analysis. Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence or Miro is beneficial

Way of working:

You are analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy tackling technical challenges. You work well both independently and as part of a team in a structured manner

Language skills:

You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken

Important information:

Working part-time

: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome

: You must be enrolled, and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.

You should live close to the site

: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
