Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Documentation Specialist (x|f|m) to join our Bioprocess Solutions team. In this role, you will be working as part of the global Technology & Support teams together with our international subsidiaries and the local Service departments on technical documentation for different bioprocessing systems. The team consists of eight professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available full time based from Guxhagen, typically with around 15% travel internationally.

Your

Responsibilities

You will work with Technical Documentation and Product Support Specialists and other stakeholders to document technically complex processes and specifications Creating service manuals and technical documents, including maintenance and calibration instructions as well as developing, collecting and publishing technical information You will participate in the standardisation of service documentation Do you enjoy continuously learning new things? You will work on various projects simultaneously, often time sensitive with the ability to understand the complexity of our Bioprocess systems In addition, you will monitor user feedback and the implementation of improvements in the documentation You will work closely with many global teams, all working towards the same goal of ensuring our documentation is correct and completed in a timely manner

You have completed training or a degree in the field of technical editing or a comparable field Experience creating technical documentation, with the ability to understand complex technical data and communicate it clearly and appropriately to the target audience Good knowledge of XML-based component content management systems You use advanced knowledge of MS Office products and Adobe PDF specifically for the professional formatting of documents Through regular travel to different locations, you will build good working relationships and identify with our values: sustainability, openness, and enjoyment (approximately 15% international travel) Excellent communication and problem solving skills, with a willingness to learn as well as excellent written expression skills in English and German and speak both languages fluently Have a proactive approach, be organised in your work with a very strong attention to detail ethos
