Job Description

We are currently seeking an Application Specialist (x|f|m) for our Sales & Product Management OEM Membranes department based at our headquarters in Goettingen, Germany (Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH). This role is responsible for application-oriented consulting and support for customer projects by providing technical, product, and application-related expertise for lateral flow and microarray applications. The team is looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for full-time.

Responsibilities

Supporting the sales organization as the customer's first technical point of contact for standard products through product presentations, training, and application studies Responsible for all product- and application-specific issues in the sales process and for the assigned product line to support sales target achievement Provide technical support proactively, answer inquiries and resolve implementation problems in the field for customers Support quality department in the quality complaint process by troubleshooting and analyzing customers processes for better investigation and resolution Collect, compile, verify and analyze data on the assigned product line performance and customer feedback to identify product features that need to be changed to meet customer needs Deep understanding of market requirements and competitor information, and actively passing this information on to management Planning and executing marketing events Writing application notes, preparing presentations for conferences and conducting training courses Planning and conducting theoretical and practical customer and sales training courses Develop strategic projects in collaboration with product management and implement them in collaboration with sales

What will

University degree in biochemistry or comparable Familiarity with lateral flow applications or immunoassays in the diagnostic field and a good understanding of hot research topics is a plus Proven experience in a similar position and industry is advantageous Strong learning ability, and expert knowledge base in this area Ability to effectively interface with customers, sales team and product management Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong customer orientation Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office, Salesforce Fluent in German and English, Chinese is a plus Willingness to travel > 30%
