Senior Software Engineer

with experience from

logistics, intralogistics, or industrial automation

, who wants to work hands-on with complex, real-world systems.
In this role, you will work on

eController

– our integration platform and toolbox for connecting, controlling, and optimizing automated warehouse equipment. This includes conveyor systems, box detectors, packing machines, and other automation technologies that form the backbone of modern logistics operations.

material flow, order execution, and system behavior

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:


Design and develop integration solutions for automated equipment such as conveyors, scanners, box detectors, and packing machines
Build robust, scalable services that coordinate order flows and physical movement of goods in real time
Work with warehouse visualization and simulation, enabling customers to model and test automated workflows before deploying changes in production
Analyze complex warehouse processes and translate logistics requirements into reliable software solutions
Improve system observability, diagnostics, and error handling in environments where uptime and precision are critical
Contribute to architectural decisions in a modular, extensible platform used across customers and markets

Your responsibilities


Take part in the full product lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support
Work closely with product management, system architects, and domain experts in logistics and automation
Act as a technical sparring partner for colleagues and support teams, sharing knowledge and raising engineering standards
Drive continuous improvement of development processes, code quality, and system architecture
Evaluate and adopt new technologies relevant to logistics automation and distributed systems

What we’re looking for


We are looking for a senior engineer who understands both

software engineering and the realities of logistics operations

.

You bring:


A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Strong experience with

C# / .NET

and modern software development practices
Background from

logistics, intralogistics, automation, manufacturing, or industrial systems


Experience building integration-heavy systems, middleware, or control software
Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures
Strong communication skills in

English

(German is an advantage)
