As a Public Policy & Business Development Intern, you will work on real-world challenges that directly impact the success of Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg in one of the fastest changing industries in Europe.
You will contribute directly to shaping the strategic direction of Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg and will support the team in advancing Tesla’s policy agenda, stakeholder engagement, community outreach, and business development initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the intersection of production, technology, regulation, and sustainability.
What You'll Do
Monitoring and Analysis of Political Developments: Track and analyze political, regulatory, and industry developments at the state, national, and EU levels to assess potential risks and opportunities. Contribute to the development of policy positions, briefing notes, and strategy papers that support Tesla’s engagement with decision-makers
Stakeholder Management: Support relationship-building with government officials, community leaders, NGOs, industry associations, and other stakeholders. Develop, organize and execute events and forums with political and community stakeholders
Business Development: Identify and pursue business development opportunities arising from political and regulatory changes. Collaborate with internal teams to support the development of actionable business plans
