to ensure smooth IT operations at our local site. This role involves handling IT support requests, troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT systems, and collaborating with global teams to improve processes and user experience.
You will be the first point of contact for users on-site, providing hands-on technical support, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Handle IT service requests and incidents through the ticketing system (phone, email, chat, walk-ins).
Diagnose and resolve PC hardware/software issues, including installations and upgrades.
Support meeting room equipment, labs, and special IT setups.
Maintain and audit IT stockroom and asset inventory.
Provide local support for networks, servers, telecoms, printers, and security systems.
Work with global IT and external vendors to resolve incidents and implement upgrades.
Contribute to knowledge base documentation and identify recurring problems for root cause analysis.
Assist with global IT application rollouts and train site users.
Raise awareness of IT security and promptly report potential threats.
Participate in local and global IT projects to improve service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–6 years of IT support or site IT experience.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Experience in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing user training.
Technical Skills

ServiceNow (ITSM), VMware Horizon (VDI), Veeam, Palo Alto GlobalProtect (VPN)
Networking & Server fundamentals, Windows internals, SAP (ERP)
Mobile device support (iOS/Android)
PDF tools (Adobe Acrobat, Foxit Reader)
Certifications
in Microsoft, Networking, Security, VMware, or SAP are a plus. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Additional Requirements
Fluent in English and German.
Flexibility to travel occasionally to support nearby sites.
N1 and H0B0 electrical certifications are required (Germany only).
Work Hours
Monday–Friday, core hours 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible start/end times).
8 working hours per day + 1-hour lunch break.
On-site position (remote work not available).
