To strengthen our IT department at the Hilden location, we are looking for a

Digital & IT Analyst – EDI

(w/m/d) for a fixed term of 6 months with possibility of extension.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Liase with Internal business stakeholders and external Partners, Customers and Suppliers to estimate, plan, and execute EDI and External Integration Projects Provide clear status reports and planning to the business Work with the wider EMEA Application Development Team and the business to enable new EDI enabled processes Work with global IT resources to ensure consistent EDI messaging and service delivery in all locations Interpret EDI Specifications, and create clear internal integration specification documents for new interfaces Develop a diverse range of EDI and application maps in the OpenText BizManager / Mapper to integrate into various internal systems Maintain EDI systems on a day to day operational basis, resolving errors, and applying system and process improvements. Define deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project, and manage their development and delivery. Estimate, plan and lead projects from start to finish, with built in contingencies. Maintain internal documentation of project and / or application documentation to assure ongoing support and maintenance Build relationships with internal users and departments. (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Engagement, Technology, Finance) Develop and conceptually design solutions based on market standards, customer, distributor or users’ needs for ongoing IS improvement and in support of meeting strategic objectives. Be a regular interface and supporting team player in the European Applications Development Team. Support the regional manufacturing plants in improving operational processes based on technical and functional system capabilities. Manage day-to-day functional and operational aspects of systems support, maintenance and project scoping standards. Facilitate global requirements, standards and guidelines defined by the Corporation.

Qualification:

BS level degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Systems or other comparable IT curriculum MS in Business Systems and Process Development related topics a bonus At least 5 years of SAP Business One experience SAP Business One certification is a bonus EDI Application Certifications MS SQL Training Development Training At least 2-3 years of EDI Map development and Communications experience. Strong familiarity with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, SQL, and diverse communication protocols (AS2, OFTP2, SFTP, Web Services) Strong EDI Application Knowledge (OpenText BizManager Family preferred) Working experience in software development and systems integration including EDI and other transactional integration scenarios 4-5years (NET, Crystal Reports) Experience in working with process-oriented ERP systems
