Global Operations and Customer Quality Specialist (m/w)
at one of our locations in
Europe - Germany, Hungary, France, Serbia, Czech Republic
Your tasks:
The role is responsible for standardizing and implementing cross-plant quality concepts across all company sites worldwide. The position requires deep expertise in organizational, technical, and cross-functional processes, strong customer-facing experience, and the ability to manage complex tasks while effectively resolving issues within the assigned scope.
Integrate customer requirements into company methods, tools, and processes; act as the “Voice of the Customer” throughout serial production.
Drive cross-plant quality alignment by reusing lessons learned, best practices, and quality standards across all programs and locations.
Manage quality risks and customer support during ramp-up and serial production phases in collaboration with the Head of APQP.
Develop and implement standardized global quality concepts in alignment with plant Quality Managers and AKMG functions.
Serve as main quality interface to OEMs, ensuring fulfillment of their requirements and supporting launch activities.
Prepare plants for new customer engagements (audits, assessments, run-at-rates, visits, etc.).
Lead customer satisfaction analysis, KPI reporting, and corrective action plans (“Voice of the Customer”).
Collect and analyze key quality KPIs (PPM, warranty, COPQ, customer complaints) and drive continuous improvement with plant quality teams.
Monitor and support QRQC/8D processes for major complaints and manage escalations with OEMs.
Ensure correct creation and regular review of product/process FMEAs and control plans.
Lead or coordinate CI teams on scrap reduction, customer ppm, and quality cost targets.
Oversee global warranty management (data analysis, reporting, negotiations with customers, market monitoring) in cooperation with the Warranty Center.
Develop and deliver customer-specific training on systems, tools, and quality methods.
Capture, share, and apply lessons learned across plants and programs.
Degree in a technical field, or equivalent technical qualification.
Minimum 5 years of similar experience, ideally in a global or multi-plant environment.
Experience in the automotive industry, specifically in quality, environmental, or energy management.
Leadership experience is an advantage.
Strong understanding of automotive quality standards (VDA, AIAG).
Knowledge of DIN and IATF 16949 requirements.
Experience working with customer-specific standards and OEM requirements.
Experience in cross-plant or global quality deployment is a plus.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel internationally (min. 50%)
Ability to work across multiple sites and time zones.
