Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI) is DHL's cross-divisional commercial and innovation unit. We are responsible for managing about 100 of DHL's largest and most strategically important customers providing them with sector expertise, best in class account management and most innovative products & solutions.



Tasks:




The Director of Digital Content Operations will lead the shaping and execution of digital content management on DHL.com and platform members globally, in 44 languages across all DHL divisions. This role ensures quality and operational efficiency in content delivery to support finability, customer engagement, brand alignment, and digital experience excellence.

Lead the discovery and implementation of new technologies (e.g., AI, Adobe AEM) focused on streamlining our processes and maximizing our ability to create great customer experiences.


Ensure continued operational adherence and continuous improvement of our Content Excellence Framework including our repository of guidelines in the Content Community Hub.

Principal Accountabilities:



Ensure organizational, process and tool setup to achieve successful central and decentral content operations offerings. Drive process optimization for content lifecycle management via the Content Excellence Framework (planning, creation, authoring, measurement, sunsetting). Implement KPIs and performance dashboards to measure content request volumes per division, process efficiency and impact. Together with relevant stakeholders, design and implement division specific Content Operations setups accounting for global, regional and country level activities Establish global standards that ensure content purpose, quality, accessibility, compliance, and brand consistency through clear and comprehensive content guidelines and authoring community learning framework Oversee end-to-end content workflows and ensure streamlined operations between content requestors, content managers and authors. Manage 3rd party agencies overseeing hiring and onboarding processes Lead a global team of (Sr) Digital Content Managers and Specialists supporting day-to-day Content Operations on DHL.com and the broader platform; provide steering of key Content Operations programs. Act as the primary liaison to divisional stakeholders managing resource needs and budgeting Partnering with IT and technology providers, evaluate and implement new digital content operations tools (e.g., translations, workflows) Lead change management initiatives related to systems, processes, and service offerings within the content operations ecosystem. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:



Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Technology or related field 8+ years of experience in digital content operations, preferably in a global organization Proven track record in managing large-scale content ecosystems and multilingual environments. Strong knowledge of CMS, DAM, and workflow automation tools. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills Experience in managing agencies and other partners Knowledge of the business of DPDHL group, the various business units, their business models, customers and products High affinity for digital environments and an eye for customer-centricity A team player with strong communication skills and proactive behavior
