Your role in our team:

Responsible purchaser for various sub-clusters within the commodity weldments along the entire product lifecycle (development, serial production, after-sales)
Managing all purchasing activities in alignment with the global weldments’ strategy as well as in close cooperation with other internal stakeholders
Developing existing suppliers (QCT: quality, cost, time) in accordance with goals related to quality, logistics, and product cost optimization
Professional preparation and independent conduct of purchasing negotiations up to contract conclusion, including framework supply agreements
Participation in development projects and cost optimization workshops
Monitoring and analysis of the market environment
Contribution to the definition of the weldments’ commodity strategy
Your profile:

Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration with additional technical knowledge, or a related field
Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally within welding technologies
Good knowledge of production processes
Comprehensive experience in conducting negotiations
Strong entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, flexible, and efficient way of working
Confident and professional appearance at both internal and external management levels.
Experience working in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Confident use of MS Office and SAP
Fluent in business English and native-level German (C2) as well as willingness to travel
