Your role in our team:

Take full responsibility within the Electronics commodity for a defined sub-cluster throughout the entire product lifecycle (project phase, serial production, and after-sales)
Manage all strategic purchasing activities in line with the global Electronics strategy and in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across CLAAS
Work in daily cross-functional cooperation with engineering, quality, logistics, and project teams
Independently prepare and conduct purchasing negotiations, including the conclusion of contracts and framework supply agreements
Support the achievement of Cost, Quality and Delivery (C-Q-D) targets in development projects through the early involvement of high-performing suppliers
Monitor, evaluate and actively steer supplier performance
Continuously observe and analyze market developments to identify risks and opportunities.
Your profile:

Successfully completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, including solid knowledge of contract law
Strong project management skills and high technical affinity, particularly in the electronics domain
Extensive negotiation experience and confident in discussions
Strong entrepreneurial and analytical thinking, combined with an independent, flexible, and structured way of working
Confident communication at internal and external management levels
Experience working in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments
Strong communicator and team player with business-fluent English; French skills are an advantage
Proficient in MS Office and SAP
Willingness to travel as required.
