Your role in our team:

Responsibility within the global commodity Hydraulics for one (or several) global subcommodity purchasing portfolio for: + the full life cycle of the products (project, serial, after sales)
+ the different CLAAS plants (Germany and abroad)
Definition and management of the subcommodity purchasing strategy, in connection with internal stakeholders in CLAAS group Daily cross functional collaboration Professional preparation and independent implementation of purchasing negotiations up to the conclusion of the contract, including drafting of development and framework supply contracts Supporting the achievement of C-Q-D (Cost-Quality-Delivery) goals in development projects through the early integration of high-performance suppliers Follow up and steering of suppliers performance Observation and analysis of the global procurement market and the derivation of potential as well as cost reduction measures in collaboration with the internal company interfaces

Your profile:

Completed studies, preferably in the field of business administration/industrial engineering Professional experience in strategic purchasing as well as in-depth knowledge of contract law Skills and experience in project management, as well as a high technical affinity for the field of Hydraulics technology, would be highly appreciated Experience in negotiations Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, flexible and efficient way of working Act confidently at internal and external management levels Experience in working together in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as business fluent English skills Confident use of MS Office and SAP Willingness to travel
