Service Engineers (m/f/d)
to join the operations team for a highly standardized and automated cloud network platform. The solution is built on modern cloud architecture and leverages advanced automation and DevOps principles. Our mission is to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operation of a business-critical infrastructure with the highest standards for availability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Management:
Analyze, document, and resolve operational incidents (~20% of working time), including escalation and coordination within the team.
Change Management:
Plan, assess impact, coordinate, and implement changes.
Operations:
Guarantee smooth platform operation and drive continuous improvement.
Automation & Innovation:
Contribute to automation and self-service solutions (e.g., DevOps tools, Python scripting).
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues on task planning, shift schedules, and on-call rotations.
General Qualifications:
Several years of experience operating and administering cloud and network architectures (e.g., data centers, enterprise environments).
Strong skills in automation and DevOps (e.g., Python, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
Analytical mindset, self-driven work style, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
Familiarity with common office and collaboration tools.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Soft Skills:
Team-oriented and collaborative in a multicultural environment.
Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
Reliability, flexibility, and proactive approach to challenges.
Language Requirements:
English:
Mandatory (business fluent, written and spoken).
German:
Preferred, but not required.

Customer Connectivity
MPLS/Peering/IPsec connectivity; BGP policy control; cipher compliance; HA testing; VRF management.
Strong WAN BGP/MPLS background
IPsec VPN ops and QoS understanding
Certifications: CCNP Service Provider, Fortinet NSE 4, ITIL Foundation

MPLS-Based L3VPN
Cloud Peering (Direct Connect, Express Route and interconnect)
IPSec Gateway
VRF Segmentation for customers
