Job Description

Passion for technology

: You learn about and understand AURIX™ MCAL low level drivers, implemented according to AUTOSAR software specification and AUTOSAR software configuration concept based on XML description files

Experience research

: You configure MCAL drivers based on Elektrobit Tresos configuration tool and understand XML based data structures used for MCAL configuration. MCAL drivers are used in virtualized multicore applications

Data is everything

: You develop Python scripts for analysis of XML based configuration files using Python libraries for XML parsing and visualization of relevant information in a GUI

Take part in development

: You will be programming examples using AURIX™ MCAL and testing the Python application

Your Profile

Study field

: Currently studying Informatics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar

Experience

: Programming experience in Python, and using Python libraries: Python XML libraries and Python GUI libraries

Skills

: Experience with MS Office, XML data format and XML processing

Interests

: Interested and having experience in Microcontroller programming in C

Way of working

: Strongly motivated, willing to learn and like working in a team

Language skills

: Fluent English skills; German is a plus

Important information:

Working part-time

: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome

: You must be enrolled and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 1 year. You must also not be in a semester of leave.

You should live close to the site

: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
