To support our design team, we are looking for a committed working student or intern to develop a central standard parts list for standard and purchased parts.

The prerequisite is enrollment in a current degree program.

The position is available as a working student position (with valid enrollment certificate) or as a mandatory internship.

A mandatory internship must have a minimum duration of 4 months – with the prospect of continuing the project as a working student afterwards.

Your tasks:

Creation of a company-wide standard parts list for standard and purchased parts Review and analysis of standard and purchased part data in the PDM system Structuring and categorizing the data in an existing Excel list (e.g., by standard, geometry, material, area of application) Developing criteria for identifying redundant entries Marking redundant parts in the Excel table Working closely with the design team to validate the data Assisting in removing redundant data from the PDM in collaboration with the design team

What you bring to the table:

Current studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable technical field of study Good basic understanding of physics and technology Basic knowledge of standard technical parts (e.g., DIN/ISO screws, nuts, bearings, seals, etc.) Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong analytical thinking skills Structured and careful way of working Very good German skills and good English skills
