Corteva Agriscience Germany is looking for a

Working student

on a 6 moths’ position.

Location

: Eschbach Research Center, Germany

Duration:

beginning of March to end of August 2025, 20h / week

About the Role:

This position is designed for MSc students from the University of Ghent who will be conducting their thesis work at Corteva’s Eschbach Research Center in 2026. The role provides hands-on experience in laboratory and greenhouse operations, supporting research in Insect-Nematode Management and related areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with laboratory activities and experiments in Insect-Nematode Management Maintain laboratory and greenhouse facilities, including cleaning, potting, and waste disposal Support colleagues in conducting experiments involving insects, nematodes, biologicals, and biostimulants Perform soil sterilization, potting, seeding, plant maintenance, and watering Work under the microscope for sample observation and analysis Rear and maintain insect and nematode cultures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Enrolled in an MSc program at the University of Ghent Interest in agricultural research, entomology, nematology, or plant science Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment Attention to detail and willingness to perform hands-on tasks in laboratory and greenhouse settings Strong organizational skills Proficient in MS Office and effective use of digital tools Full proficiency in English (written and spoken), fluency in German is a plus
