Working Student (d/m/f) within AIT (Assembly Integration and Test) for optical Instruments

\n

Definition working student

\n

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

\n

This employment usually takes place directly on the company\'s premises. A working student\'s main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

\n

\n

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

\n

\n

Your tasks and responsibilities

\n

• \n

• Support for the AIT Phase. For example:

  \n

• Support of Integration/Assembly activities

  \n

• Writing/Revising of integration and test procedures

  \n

• Work in Cleanroom conditions

  \n

• Support during test campaign

  \n

• Harness integration and routing

  \n

• Electrical and functional integration
  

  \n

\n

\n

Plan of AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test). For example:

\n

• \n

• Analysis of Integration Sequence

  \n

• Hardware analysis and integration planning

  \n

• Writing documentation with space standards

  \n

• Assembly sequence development for optical alignment procedures

  \n

• Simulation of integration steps with CAD tools accessibility checks and feasibility of tasks

  \n

• Analysis of constraints and "AIT-bility"
  

  \n

CAD and Analysis. For example:

\n

• \n

• Design of Ground Support Equipment using space standards

  \n

• Simulate the integration steps with CAD

  \n

• Constraints Analysis
  

  \n

\n

\n

Planning Electronic Setup for test activities. For example:

\n

• \n

• Specification

  \n

• Test harness implications

  \n

• Cooperation with electrical assembly and electrical engineering

  \n

• Automated test procedure coding

  \n

• Script Debugging

Software Programming of Test Routines:

• \n

• Writing/Maintenance of Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint and Catia macros

  \n

• Programming of new routines

  \n

• Script development
  

  \n

Desired skills and qualifications

\n

• \n

• Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Aerospace engineering or similar field of study

  \n

• You have Software skills (programming languages would be a plus)

  \n

• Your English is fluent and you speak German

  \n

• You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently
  

  \n
