The Business School has a vacancy for the following position to be filled at the
earliest possible date:
W2 professorship for general business
administration with a focus on sustainability
management
Sound scientific knowledge in the field of economics
Sound knowledge in the areas of ecological and economic sustainability
management, e.g. strategic sustainability and transformation management,
sustainability controlling & data analysis as well as governance, compliance &
sustainability policy
Knowledge of ecology (e.g. material flow management, biodiversity, climate
change interactions) or environmental economics (e.g. internalization,
environmental certificates) or in the field of renewable energies is desirable
Outstanding scientific aptitude, demonstrated by a doctoral degree, and teaching
aptitude
At least three years of practical professional experience in the desired field
An application-oriented research profile in the field of sustainability management,
proven by corresponding publications
Strong language skills in German and English
Additional language skills in French and/or another
world language are desirable, as is proof of international
contacts and experience
Your profile
Offering corresponding courses in the field of sustainability management (Bachelor
and Master courses), primarily at the Business School in German and English
Willingness to take on basic courses in the field of general business administration
Developing and implementing contemporary teaching formats
Dedicated participation in furthering the faculty and the university, as well as in
academic self-governance
Willingness to cooperate and work in an interdisciplinary manner across different
fields of study
Representing your subject area in teaching, research, scientific development and
public relation matters
On-site presence at the university in order to provide optimal support for students
