Your Tasks
Taking end-to-end responsibility for your TS Trade client portfolio within Wholesale Banking, you act as the primary point of contact and formal escalation point for operational incidents or deviations. In this role, you work closely with Trade Sales, the Centre of Epertise, the central TSAM team and our ING hubs.
With a clear focus on growth and revenue generation, you actively leverage eisting client relationships to increase TS fee income, continuously monitor client revenues and take targeted actions.
As part of deal teams, client presentations and RFPs, you make significant contributions to the further development and revenue growth of our trade business.
From the outset of new trade transactions, you structure and implement the operational setup (e.g. Supply Chain Finance, Accounts Receivable, guarantees and letters of credit). You are responsible for buyer and supplier onboarding and optimize technical interfaces and formats to ensure smooth, highly automated day-to-day operations.
Driving operational ecellence and process improvements is a key part of your role. In close collaboration with the ING hubs, you ensure a consistent, high-quality eecution across all trade processes.
Through regular client reviews, client visits and proactive communication, you manage ongoing business activities, identify opportunities and ensure clear alignment with all internal stakeholders.
Throughout all your activities, compliance with regulatory requirements, in particular KYC guidelines, is a given.
Your Profile
Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable qualification or professional training
Several years of eperience in Wholesale Banking, including the management of compleclient relationships in international and multi-market environments, with a strong focus on value creation in Trade Solutions and Transaction Services
Strong commercial mindset, combined with solid risk awareness, credit assessment skills, analytical capabilities and a sound understanding of Wholesale Banking
In-depth knowledge of operational workflows, scalable transaction banking systems and best practices in account management
Ecellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of seniority and ensure strong stakeholder alignment
Self-driven and well-organised working style, with proven eperience in prioritising tasks, taking ownership and performing effectively in a deadline-driven environment
Proactive team player with a positive attitude, eager to learn, share knowledge and actively contribute to a cohesive, client-centric team culture
Passion for innovation and a feel for sustainable solutions
Fluency in German and English
