We are looking for a test and automation engineer (m/f/d) to join our performance test team. You will work in a small, focused team collaborating closely with other teams within Advantest and its partners to ensure the V93000 SOC test system meets the performance expectations of our customers.

The job is located in the Böblingen office. Occasional remote work is possible.



Job Description:


You will work as a member of a self-organized agile team that has the responsibility to monitor the performance of the V93000 SOC test system and detect performance issues before they affect a customer You will develop and improve tools and test cases to measure, track, visualize, report, and analyze performance-relevant characteristics of the system You will perform performance analyses and collaborate with development teams to improve the system software of the V3000 tester, especially in anticipation of the large test programs of the coming device generations.

Essential skills and qualifications:


Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field Good knowledge of tools used for automation, e.g., Jenkins or scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or Bash Good knowledge of the Linux operating system Good knowledge of the V93000 SOC test system and the SmarTest software Being a team player with the desire to work in cross-functional, international teams Willingness to take over the responsibility for an area of activity of the performance team Very good communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:


Understanding of digital electronics, ideally also of semiconductor testing Experience with agile software development in large organizations Good documentation and presentation skills Knowledge about web development and database design (SQL and NoSQL) * German language skills
