Your responsibilities

As Test Automation Engineer (f/m/x) in our Digital Lab Solutions Division you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our diagnostics software products through automated testing.



Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases (UI and services) within our lab systems landscape Execute automated tests and analyse results for continuous optimization Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality standards are met Conduct tool evaluations to select appropriate test automation solutions Create test automation concepts for various software projects Mentor and guide testers, assuming the role of Lead Test Automation Engineer
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and healthcare technology. Creatively promoting our products and services through written text

Your profile

Academic degree in software engineering, bio-/medical technology or related field with strong IT affinity Proven experience in test automation engineering, methodologies, and tools (ISTQB advanced level certificate) Advanced knowledge of at least two test automation tools such as TOSCA, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI, Ranorex, or others Strong understanding of agile / lean methodologies, and healthcare industry standards / regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English fluent) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive personality with passion for digital transformation and continuous learning as role evolves with technological advancements and market changes
