The Opportunity:

Technical Programme Manager (FSI Core Product & AI Enablement)

We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient

Technical Programme Manager (TPM)

to drive the execution and delivery of our core backend banking software products. This role is crucial for continuing our platform transformation towards an AI-enabled product suite.

The successful candidate will own complex, multi-team programs focused on and building resilient foundations and the

API and data services

that will underpin the next generation of autonomous financial applications for our customers in existing and target markets.#

What You'll Do:

#

A. Strategic Program Leadership & Execution

Program Definition & Strategy:

Define, plan, and drive the end-to-end execution strategy for major product initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall company vision.

Resource planning:

Support continuous planning of required skills and resources (human and AI).

Dependency Management:

Manage complex technical dependencies across multiple Engineering, Product Management, and Legal/Compliance teams. Anticipate and mitigate roadblocks, ensuring optimal team flow in changing environments.

Risk & Technical Debt:

Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and potential architecture debt.

Communication & Reporting:

Serve as the primary communication bridge between technical teams and executive stakeholders, providing clear, concise, and timely updates on program health, trade-offs, and critical next steps.

B. AI & Autonomous Business Enablement (Critical Focus)

AI Program Ownership:

Lead programs specifically designed to embed Artificial Intelligence and autonomous capabilities into our platform.

Compliance-by-Design:

Work closely with Regulatory experts to ensure AI-driven features comply with stringent relevant FSI regulatory requirements.

What You Bring:

Experience:

5+ years of experience in a technical role, with at least 2

years as a Technical Programme Manager

or Senior Program Manager managing large-scale, cross-functional software development programmes.

Technical Fluency:

Deep technical understanding of

API design, microservices, cloud architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, serverless),

and scalable data systems.

AI/ML Programme Experience:

Direct experience leading programs that involved

Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning capabilities.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to influence without authority across engineering, product, and non-technical teams.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering. Alternatively, relevant adequate professional education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional experience working with core banking systems, financial services technology (FSI), or other heavily regulated industries (e.g., FinTech, InsurTech). Familiarity with German/EU financial regulations (e.g. DORA, PSD2). Fluency in German is a significant advantage.
