As our Team Lead Account Management, you’ll play a key role in driving customer success, retention, and growth across the DACH region. You’ll lead, coach, and empower a team of Account Managers to deliver measurable impact for our clients - from SMBs to enterprise brands - while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
This is an opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and leadership. You’ll have the autonomy to shape your team’s success while collaborating closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and RevOps.
Tasks
What you’ll be doing
Your work will directly influence JOIN’s commercial success and customer satisfaction. Here’s what that looks like:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve individual and team goals.
Define and implement scalable processes that drive customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
Act as an escalation point for complex client challenges and high-value opportunities.
Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Use CRM data to analyse performance, forecast results, and identify improvement opportunities.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within your team.
Balance strategic oversight with hands-on support to help customers unlock the full value of JOIN’s platform.
Who you’ll work with
You’ll report directly to Sales Leadership and collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Product, Marketing, and Revenue Operations. You’ll also engage with senior stakeholders across our strategic client base, helping them achieve lasting success with JOIN.
Your team of Account Managers will look to you for guidance, coaching, and inspiration - while you’ll be supported in developing your leadership and strategic decision-making skills further.
Requirements
What we’re looking for

? 7+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
? Proven track record of driving customer retention and business growth through strategic account management.
? Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — you thrive on helping others succeed.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with experience using CRM tools (ideally HubSpot).
? Proactive, empathetic, and structured leadership style that balances autonomy with accountability.
? Fluent in German and English.
