Job Description:

Abiomed, Johnson & Johnson is looking for a motivated Lead Supervisor (m/f/d) to oversee our logistics team and ensure the efficient management of our supply chain.

Task and responsibilities:

Supervises individual contributors and is responsible for effective performance management.

Oversees high-level warehouse and distribution logistics operations across the supply chain, from the initial receipt of components in materials movement to the final distribution and transportation of finished goods.

Supports initiatives to ensure that all warehouse areas are properly maintained and that products are stored and handled in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as federal and local regulatory requirements.

Measures and monitors site inventory by verifying the accuracy of all transactions and following departmental cycle count programs to avoid physical inventory discrepancies.

Collects relevant, current competitor activity and announcements to develop innovative ideas for new warehouse and distribution strategies.

Ensures core warehouse and distribution procedures comply with local and federal regulatory policies and requirements.

Responsible for managing the operational aspects of the team (e.g., workflows, performance, and compliance) as well as achieving team goals within expected standards.

Understands and applies the Johnson & Johnson Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with the team.

Experience and Education:

Education: University degree in logistics, business administration, or a comparable qualification, ideally with leadership experience

Experience: Several years of experience leading a logistics team, experience in strategic planning and cross-functional management

Required knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications/licenses:

Knowledge: In-depth knowledge in process optimization, safety regulations, quality management, budgeting

Skills: Leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, strong communication skills

Competencies: Strategic planning, employee development, Change Management, driving efficiency in warehouse and shipping

Language skills: German (native or fluent), English (very good in spoken and written)

Proficiency in Excel and Word

Project management experience is desirable

Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten:

Führt einzelne Mitarbeitende und ist verantwortlich für ein effektives Leistungsmanagement.

Überwacht hochrangige Lager- und Distributionslogistik-Operationen der Lieferkette, von der initialen Annahme von Komponenten in der Materialbewegung bis zur endgültigen Verteilung und dem Transport der Fertigwaren.

Unterstützt Initiativen, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Lagerbereiche ordnungsgemäß instand gehalten werden und dass Produkte gemäß den Anforderungen der Unternehmensrichtlinien und -verfahren sowie bundes- und lokaler regulatorischer Anforderungen gelagert und gehandhabt werden.

Misst und überwacht den Standortbestand, indem er die Genauigkeit aller Transaktionen überprüft und den Abteilungszykluszählprogrammen folgt, um physische Inventurdifferenzen zu vermeiden.

Sammelt relevante, aktuelle Wettbewerberaktivitäten und Ankündigungen, um innovative Ideen für neue Lager- und Distributionsstrategien zu entwickeln.

Stellt sicher, dass zentrale Lager- und Distributionsprozesse den lokalen und bundesweiten regulatorischen Richtlinien und Anforderungen entsprechen.

Verantwortlich für das Management der operativen Aspekte des Teams (z. B. Arbeitsabläufe, Leistung und Compliance) sowie für das Erreichen der Teamziele innerhalb der erwarteten Standards.

Versteht und wendet das Credo von Johnson & Johnson sowie die Leadership Imperatives im täglichen Umgang mit dem Team an.

Erfahrung und Ausbildung:

Ausbildung: Hochschulabschluss in Logistik, Betriebswirtschaft oder einer vergleichbaren Qualifikation, idealerweise mit Führungserfahrung

Erfahrung: Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Leitung eines Logistikteams, Erfahrung in der strategischen Planung und bereichsübergreifendem Management

Erforderliches Kenntnisse, Fähigkeiten, Kompetenzen, Zertifikate:

Kenntnisse: Fundierte Kenntnisse in Prozessoptimierung, Sicherheitsvorschriften, Qualitätsmanagement, Budgetierung

Fähigkeiten: Führungsstärke, Entscheidungsfähigkeit, Konfliktlösung, ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

Kompetenzen: Strategische Planung, Mitarbeiterentwicklung, Change Management, Steigerung der Effizienz im Lager- und Versandbereich

Kenntnisse in Excel und Word

Erfahrung im Projektmanagement sind wünschenswert
