Student Research Assistant to the Dean of Graduate Programmes (gn)

The Dean of Graduate Programmes is looking for a

Student Research Assistant (gn)

to support the COST Action CoREx project, as well as initiatives within the deanship. The contract is for 10 hours per week, shall start as soon as possible, and will be limited until 31 July 2026. CoREx is a pan-European network of researchers studying the relationships of executive politicians, top civil servants, and ministerial advisers (‘the executive triangle’) from an internationally comparative perspective. As a student research assistant, you'll play a vital role in research and organisation of the project assisting the Action Chair Thurid Hustedt.

Your tasks:

Conduct research on political advisers in Germany Assist with data collection, and analysis. Review, classify, and summarise academic articles on relevant topics. Provide support with additional research and organisational tasks as needed.

Your profile:

Enrolled at a German University Proficient in German and English, both spoken and written Academic background in Social Sciences (in Public Administration is an asset). Ability to work independently. Experience with website management and social media is an asset.
