The successful candidate will join our Recruitment, Admissions, Digital Marketing, Student Finance team, which is concerned with finding the best minds for the Hertie School's graduate progammes. The team manages prospective students' recruitment, selection and admission for our Master's programmes.
Your tasks:
Your main areas of responsibility will be:
a) providing advice to students:
Provide advice on topics such as scholarships, student loans and other sources of funding (email, webinars, phone, in-person etc.) to prospective students
Individual online and in-person consultations for prospective and admitted students to explore internal and external funding opportunities
Follow up proactively on individual cases
Track communications and information requests from prospective and admitted students
Prepare reports for various stakeholders at the School
Other administrative tasks
b) external funding:
Research potential new cooperations with funding institutions in key markets (e.g., Germany, Europe, US, Latin America and India)
Your profile:
Enrolled at a German University for the duration of the contract (two years)
Hands-on approach and strong pro-active service orientation
Ability to work independently and reliably, with attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office
Strong intercultural competences
Very good oral and written skills in German and English
