We are looking for a

Student Assistant - Reconfiguring Europe (gn)

part-time (10hrs/week), starting as of February 2026. The successful candidate will work at the Hertie School's Jacques Delors Centre in the Coordination Project of the DFG-funded Research Unit Reconfiguring Europe . The tasks will focus on communication as well as support of the group’s general work. The contract is initially limited to 12 months, with the possibility of an extension.

Your tasks:

Assistance in the organization of events related to the project and the Research Unit Support with website updates (typo3 and wordpress) Bring in your ideas on Social Media postings Editing of (scientific) texts Basic graphic design and layouting

Your profile:

Currently enrolled at a German university and studying a relevant field such as political science, European studies, international relations or public policy A completed Bachelor’s degree is an asset Very good English and German (written and spoken), additional European languages (e.g., French) are an asset Structured working style and good communication skills Creative, pro-active and hands-on attitude Experience in communication and event organization Experience in Indesign and Canva for layouting processes Good knowledge of the EU is an asset
