Strategic Purchaser - DE - Braunschweig

Key Responsibilities:

Contract and purchasing negotiations in accordance to guidelines from Global Sourcing team, lead role in contract and purchasing negotiations Manage and develop supplier base, performance and relationships and execute/support supplier selection/rationalization process Gather and analyze spending and supplier data, execute benchmarking and provide data to the relevant functions Ensure local actions align with the global sourcing strategy while working hand – in- hand with Global Sourcing team Ensure sourcing objectives and targets on quality, lead times, and costs are met in own area of responsibility Create and update agreements with suppliers, maintain master data in relevant parts Manage supplier performance and relationships, gather and analyze expenditure and supplier data, execute benchmarking, provide data to the relevant functions Analyze future supply demand in cooperation with respective functions and stakeholders Support non-conformity/warranty process management in escalated issues Secure compliance with supply management processes/procedures, strategies, and agreements

Critical Skills & Qualifications:

min. 5 years’ experience in strategic purchasing in electronics area Hands on mentality, keen to learn and develop yourself, applying out of the box thinking Sufficient fluent business English and German Clear and transparent and trustworthy way of working Clear and straight to the point communication Building networks capability Experienced in common SAP transactions and standard processes in procurement Willingness to travel approx. 25 %
