Our client, a swiftly growing subsidiary under the umbrella of a large Internationally renowned forestry management and investments firm, leads the way in connecting forestry with state-of-the-art technology. Their unwavering commitment to establishing ethical and sustainable carbon offsets, underscored by a steadfast dedication to transparency, has led them to seek an energetic individual to join the team as a Strategic Partnership Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to identify areas of opportunity. You will then develop and execute business development strategies that are aligned with our clients company objectives and revenue targets. Identifying and prioritising target markets and customer segments for expansion will be a critical part of your role. You will also be responsible for creating persuasive proposals and presentations to pitch partnership ideas and secure new business. In addition, you will lead negotiations with clients to establish long-term business opportunities and collaborate closely with internal teams, including Marketing, to ensure the sharing of valuable insights and customer feedback. Finally, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a team to implement your strategies across different regions of the business.

To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor\'s degree in any business-related field and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in client-facing roles and team management. Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or a related role is essential. We are looking for someone with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English (with knowledge of German as a plus) is required, and you should possess strong interpersonal skills with a charismatic personality. A deep understanding of the carbon offset market, coupled with outstanding organisational and time-management abilities, is highly valued. Additionally, you should be willing to relocate to G\xc3\xb6ttingen.

In the role of Strategic Partnership Manager, you will hold a pivotal position in shaping the future of sustainable forestry and the integration of cutting-edge technology. Your duties will encompass various crucial aspects:

Your foremost responsibility will include identifying potential strategic partners within the sustainability and technology sectors, a crucial step in furthering the clients mission. Equally important in your role is building and nurturing robust relationships with potential partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders.

You will also take the lead in structuring partnership agreements, collaborations, and alliances that closely align with the business\'s overarching objectives. Negotiation skills will be vital, as you will be at the forefront of discussions with partners, securing terms and agreements that mutually benefit all parties involved.

Strategic planning will be central to your role, requiring the development and execution of strategic plans aimed at effectively leveraging these partnerships for growth and maximum impact. Lastly, continuous performance evaluation of these partnerships will be key, allowing you to assess their effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to drive success.
