Logistics Supervisor - Germany

We are looking for an experienced

Logistics Supervisor

to play a key role on our construction projects in Frankfurt. We are currently working on a number of data centres around Frankfurt. Part of the Dussmann Group of companies, STS Group is fully committed to the highest Health, Safety and Environmental & Quality practices, this position will play a key role in the smooth and effective running of our projects in the region.

The Opportunity

Based in our Frankfurt office, our Logistics Supervisor will work closely with site management teams to ensure all materials, plant and equipment are ordered and received in a timely manner. This role will ensure our yards and stores are kept well-organised and running efficiently to deliver on the needs and timelines of our projects.

Most of the Key Tasks

Material logistics (relocating equipment and materials across sites). Managing procurement registers and following up orders in a timely manner Keeping track of the stock, highlighting shortages or excesses. Signing out of plant, equipment and tools. Organising stock and signing off weekly inspections of lifting and working at height equipment. Checking deliveries against paperwork and delivery dockets to ensure materials are delivered without damage or discrepancies. Ensuring that delivery drivers follow safety protocols, such as wearing PPE and maintaining their vehicles properly. Supervising the allocation and use of laydown areas by contractors, taking action if materials aren't being moved as needed. Ensuring that all plant and equipment (e.g., forklifts, hoists, generators) are properly maintained, checked, and serviced as needed. Ensure adherence to strict health, safety, and operational procedures

Key Qualifications Required

5+ Years in a logistics, warehousing or related role, ideally within the construction industry. Relevant Qualification and/or training (Logistics, Construction Management, Supply Chain or Similar). Forklift Licence Teleporter Licence C1 Truck Licence Good understanding of construction processes and industry standards. Exceptional organisational, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent level of both English and German languages Good computer literacy and able to learn new systems
