SPECIALIST FOR OPTOELECTRONIC SEMICONDUCTOR COMPONENTS AND SYSTEMS (M/F/D)

YOUR TASKS

As a specialist for optoelectronic semiconductor components and systems, you will develop highly innovative lighting systems with international partners in the Lighting division and ensure their system integration and industrialization in global automotive series projects. You will be responsible for requirements and supplier collaboration in the product development of customized solutions and support the product creation process from pre-development to series production.



You develop and verify new optoelectronic components and technologies (LEDs, smartLEDs, miniLEDs, µLEDs, displays, SmartGlass, etc.) You will be responsible for requirements and supplier collaboration for product development with international partners. You will work in and together with cross-system and cross-domain teams and support global series development in the field of optoelectronic systems. You will be responsible for the development of optoelectronic components and systems. You will be responsible for initiating, conducting and evaluating reliability tests in the field of component and technology development. You will be responsible for basic research and pilot applications. You will work closely with our global suppliers and development partners in an international and highly motivated team.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, microsystems technology, mechanical engineering, physics or similar Several years of professional experience in the field of optoelectronic systems (LED technology, display technology, control), ideally in the automotive sector desirable/preferred Knowledge in the fields of optics, electrical engineering, thermal management and assembly and interconnection technology of optoelectronic systems Knowledge of securing lifetime, analysis, measurement and testing technology Analytical and strategic thinking, strong communication skills and assertiveness Proactive, team-oriented way of working with a high degree of initiative and motivation Ability to coordinate and manage project teams Very good English and preferably German language skills.
