Solution Consultant

Job Summary:

As a Solution Consultant, you will develop and deliver IT/OT network solutions with a strong focus on software and firewall technologies. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions that drive measurable value and support Belden’s growth.

You'll make an impact in the following way:

Develop and present holistic Belden solutions to drive pipeline growth and increase win rate

Provide technical consulting for key accounts and manage complex customer projects

Translate process-diagnostic insights into solutions with measurable business impact

Integrate software and firewall technologies into IT/OT solutions (Cloud, IIoT, ICS)

Execute PoCs, FATs, and network audits in collaboration with the CIC Support Team

Support campaigns such as webinars, roadshows, and trade fairs

Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and R&D to define customer value propositions

Required Skills and Experience:

Education: Degree in Engineering with focus on IT/OT networking or process automation

Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in solution consulting within industrial or enterprise networks

Proven success in sales-related or service-oriented roles

Strong expertise in firewall architectures and software integration

Knowledge of Cloud, IIoT, ICS and applications in manufacturing, AGVs, or intralogistics

Ability to communicate complex technical topics in clear, simple language

Language: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
