As a Software Engineer (MLOps, GenAI) within the Scalable Core team, you will dive into building and enhancing our innovative Generative AI platform, enabling seamless creation of intelligent energy management solutions. Your day might involve designing scalable MLOps pipelines, collaborating with data scientists to optimize large language models, and deploying solutions across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments. You’ll engage with multi-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into our foundational services, solve complex issues, and implement standard methodologies to enhance the overall developer experience. Your contributions will directly impact Siemens Energy’s ability to deliver innovative, scalable, and intelligent solutions that drive the future of energy management.

How You’ll Make an Impact



Develop and enhance platforms that simplify the creation and deployment of Generative AI solutions. Create and manage efficient MLOps workflows to streamline the AI/ML lifecycle from experimentation to production. Train and fine-tune large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT) to meet specific performance and reliability standards. Deploy AI solutions across diverse environments, including cloud, on-premises, and edge, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Monitor and uphold service level agreements to guarantee the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of AI services. Collaborate with data scientists, backend developers, and other team members to integrate AI capabilities into foundational services and digital solutions.

What You Bring



Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Longstanding experience as a software engineer, with at least 2 years focused on Generative AI and MLOps. Proficiency in ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, along with data libraries like Pandas and NumPy. Hands-on experience with MLOps tools like Kubeflow, MLflow, TensorFlow Extended (TFX), and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

We focus on creating seamless integrations across IT and OT platforms, developing AI/ML/GenAI platforms for smart solutions, and enhancing developer experiences to ensure high-quality, compliant software delivery. By fostering innovation and collaboration, the Scalable Core team plays a crucial role in enabling both internal teams and external clients to build and deploy innovative energy management solutions across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments.
