Key responsibilities

Become a Service Technician (m/f/d) at ABB in Minden!

In our Instrumentation Workshop, you are responsible for repairs and calibrations of flow measurement technology products. With your expertise and customer focus, you play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving the growth of our service center.


You will be mainly accountable for:

Professional repair, calibration, and adjustment of flow measurement technology products Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of device faults, including fault analysis Independent setup of the workspace as well as disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of various device types Inspecting, assessing, and documenting the technical condition of repaired devices Timely creation and processing of service reports and other documentation Providing telephone customer support and cooperating with quality assurance on complaint issues Continuous improvement of personal skills and overall service processes

Qualifications for the role

Completed vocational training of at least three years in a relevant field Professional experience in measurement and control technology preferred Independent, team-oriented, and quality-focused working style with strong customer focus Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is an advantage Fluent German and basic English skills, both written and spoken High self-motivation and flexibility
