The role…
… is based in Wennigsen or Lippstadt, Germany.
We are looking for a high-performing Service Operations Manager to help us achieve our goals in terms of field service and revenue growth by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing the potential of our Field Service team, creating an efficent field service organization.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the Regional Service Managers (m/f/d) and Service Operations Back Office management functions
Responsibility for the field servive in Germany with around 200 service technicians and field service back office
Direct reporting line to the Service Manager BSI Germany
Responsibility for compliance with occupational safety standards
Ensuring service quality and quantity in the field service Germany
Establishing and monitoring service KPIs, such as order processing times and customer satisfaction
Close collaboration with other departments such as Service Sales, Sales, and international corporate interfaces
Coordination of information regarding technical issues and solutions
Support of Regional Service Managers in customer management
Development of team members through coaching, motivation, and individual advancement
The ideal candidate will have:
Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering or a comparable degree
Strong service business acumen
A strong and diplomatic personality with several years of Field Service experience in the field of building technology, door technology, building services, construction supply industry or mechanical engineering
Experience in acting in a goal-oriented, motivating manner and with entrepreneurial vision
Knowledge of know how to improve field service workflows and performance
Experience in ERP systems and application software
Unrestricted willingness to travel throughout Germany
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, experience in leadership and people development
Able to thrive in a demanding but collaborative international matrix environment
Experience in working in an international company / group
Fluent written and spoken German and English
Experience using ERP systems and application software
