Job Overview

As we continue to scale, we're seeking a senior-level market data professional to join our Strategic Data Partnerships Team and lead the way we engage with exchanges and data vendors. This is not just a coordination role — it's a chance to shape how we license, govern, and strategically leverage external data across the business.



Do you have deep knowledge of the market data industry and its dynamics? Are you a skilled negotiator, familiar with market data licensing policies, vendor negotiations? Are you ready to take ownership of our strategic data relationships and help Solactive scale its indexing business globally?

Your Tasks

Own key relationships with exchanges and market data vendors, from commercial negotiations to long-term partnership strategy Lead sourcing and execution of exchange data agreements, ensuring alignment between usage rights are business needs Advise the business teams on licensing terms across all functions Stay ahead of regulatory and policy changes in the market data space, and operationalize those changes internally Maintain data licensing infrastructure in coordination with relevant teams Educate and empower internal stakeholders on compliant and strategic use of external data Identify opportunities to reduce spend and improve data ROI by optimizing license structure and usage patterns

Your Profile

7–10 years of experience in market data services, exchange/vendor management, or related roles in financial services or data vendors Knowledge of exchange policies and compliance implications Strong commercial acumen and experience leading complex negotiations and contracts Fluent in English (German is a strong plus) A structured, independent thinker with a high sense of ownership Skilled in cross-team collaboration Comfortable navigating technical systems and tools Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Germany
