We are seeking a Senior Specialist Environmental Data Reporting to support the accounting and controlling of Henkel’s global environmental footprint and drive data-based sustainability initiatives. In this role, you will develop interactive dashboards, automate reporting processes, and build forecasting models for predictive environmental analysis. You will ensure compliance with external standards such as GRI, GHGP, and CSRD, and deliver insights to stakeholders ranging from peers to Henkel’s Sustainability Council and leadership. You will also coordinate environmental data projects, manage internal systems like Sphera and the Henkel Data Platform, and foster cross-functional collaboration to maintain reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

What you´ll do
Track evolving external standars (e.g. GRI, GHGP, CSRD) and assess their impact on Henkel
Propose updates to internal processes, policies and standards, ensure site-level compliance, and train users through seminars and knowledge-sharing initiatives, incorporating new reporting requirements, targets and metrics
Ensure accurate accounting and controlling of Henkel’s global environmental data footprint in line with internal and external standards
Maintain data quality, implement internal controls, and document processes to ensure reliability and compliance
Evaluate and assess environmental data for internal and external reporting needs (CSRD, CDP, AISE, EcoVadis, VCI).
Create written reports and dashboards tailored to various audiences—from operational teams to executive leadership-and support sustainability ratings and external audits
Maintain and enhance environmental data systems (e.g. Sphera, Henkel Data Platform, Power BI) to streamline data collection, storage and analysis
Build and maintain interactive dashboards, automate reporting processes, and develop forecasting models to support predictive environmental analysis
Lead and support environmental data projects, such as onboarding non-production sites and improving estimation methodologies
Coordinate with stakeholders across divisions and functions, including for fleet reporting and system improvements

What makes you a good fit
Master Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or related field
3 years professional experience in Corporate Environmental Reporting & Analytics
Strong analytical skills in environmental data accounting and forecasting
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Sphera a plus
Knowledge of GRI, GHGP, CSRD
Detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and able to manage priorities in a global setting
Fluent in English; German a plus
