Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite
As a Senior Software Test Lead/Engineer, you will plan, schedule and manage test activities for our complex medical robotics and enabling technologies. You will design and implement effective test strategies at module, subsystem, and system level, collaborate with outsourced partners, and mentor junior engineers. With your expertise in modern software engineering and testing principles, you will help ensure robust, reliable applications for our global users — across both legacy systems and new developments

What will you do:

Design, implement, and maintain test cases for software components of the enabling technologies platform. Drive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of system software behavior. Execute software tests, analyze results, and document findings and defects in a clear, reproducible manner. File actionable bug reports and collaborate closely with software engineers and product management to drive resolution and verify fixes, in alignment with regulatory and quality standards. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other team members to fully understand requirements and ensure high-quality implementations and application changes to define test strategies and meaningful test scenarios. Review and manage software requirements and software verification test cases in compliance with medical device software standards (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 14971). Ensure complete traceability between requirements, test cases/scripts, and test results using the company’s Quality Management System. Document software verification test cases and test results, and maintain accurate, audit-ready test documentation in accordance with quality system procedures. Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.

What You’ll Bring

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, or related field and 2+ years of software test experience. Strong knowledge of software test strategy, test case development, software testing methods, software test design techniques, software risk analysis across the complete system, and software development practices. Experience documenting test plans, results, and traceability for audits and regulatory submissions. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in technical documentation and defect reporting.

Preferred:

Experience with Linux environments (e.g., Ubuntu) and scripting (Python) for test support or data processing. Knowledge of IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and FDA software validation requirements.
