Description



Who we’re looking for



We’re looking for a seasoned Communications Manager to help make vaylens the go-to brand for EV charging management. You’ll report to our Head of Marketing and work together with both internal teams and external partners to craft content that keeps people coming back and communications that make vaylens a company people love. The ideal candidate brings (near-)native British English skills and 7+ years of experience across at least two of these SaaS disciplines: communications, copywriting, content production, community building, or social media marketing.



What you’ll be responsible for

PR, thought leadership and local positioning:

Secure media coverage and mentions in top industry channels, grow employee and executive visibility through content and speaking engagements, and increase vaylens’ share of voice in priority markets.

Social media strategy and management:

Grow follower base, reach, and engagement rates across priority channels (especially LinkedIn), and generate meaningful interactions with customers, partners, and influencers around demand-generation campaigns and events.

Copywriting and quality assurance:

Create customer- and partner-focused content and communications (i.e. landing pages, press releases, downloadables, newsletters, articles, etc.), and provide templates, guidelines, and training to employees and vendors to ensure consistency and quality.



Qualifications



You have a portfolio or writing samples showcasing how you’ve translated business objectives and user data into successful content and campaigns across channels

You have impeccable writing and communication skills in British English

You understand that writing for algorithms does not outweigh providing value to our audience; you’re meticulous in ensuring your writing speaks to our audience from the get-go

You have a proven track record of working with website management systems, social media management tools, and co-creating content and communications with all levels of stakeholders
