The Private Debt & Opportunities Team within the Investment Strategy Department of AIM SE is responsible for the asset classes infrastructure & renewables debt, real estate debt, private corporate debt and impact & blended finance investments. The team is based in Munich and works very closely with colleagues around the globe to implement the various strategies both with internal but also external asset managers. In this role you will contribute especially to the private corporate debt strategy and drive our sustainability ambitions across the private debt spectrum forward.

Key responsibilities
  • Be part of the development and implementation of the global investment strategy of Allianz in the private debt space with a focus on corporate lending
  • (Co-)Lead complex and large-scale private debt investment proposals through qualitative and quantitative investment analysis
  • Drive sustainability ambition within the Private Debt and be point of contact for all sustainability related expert topics
  • Contribute to data analytics for private debt, performance measurement and ongoing portfolio management (including representing Allianz in relevant investor committees)
  • Drive decision making processes at global and local level, in particular for investment transactions
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external asset managers
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally in portfolio steering, credit strategies and/or alternative assets paired with experience in sustainability topics and regulation
  • Passion for investments and sustainability
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, personal drive and "getting things done" attitude
  • Strong results orientation and focus on implementation, ability to work towards tight deadlines
  • Team player who enjoys working in a diverse and international environment and feels comfortable representing Allianz also externally
  • Written and oral fluency in English, German or other European languages are a plus
  • Strong academic background
  • Further qualifications such as CFA are desireable
