We are looking for a Senior Account Manager - Maternity cover.
Job Overview
The Account Manager provides superior customer service with the client service team. They provide administrative support to account and management teams as required and contribute to the overall efficient operation.
The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing tactics, and the ability to manage complex, multi-channel campaigns. They work closely with internal teams—SEO, Paid Media, Content, Analytics, Creative—to oversee execution and ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded. They also mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
Key Accountabilities:
Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients and build trusted, long-term relationships
Manage day-to-day operations for campaigns across channels (SEO, Paid Media, Content, Social, Analytics)
Lead client meetings, prepare presentations, and communicate results clearly
Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and resources across internal teams
Ensure high quality of all client deliverables and uphold agency standards
Identify upsell opportunities and support account growth
Manage budgets, forecast results, and track KPIs
Mentor junior team members and support their professional development
Collaborate with leadership on improving internal processes and workflows
Stay up to date with digital trends and translate them into actionable recommendations.
Key Requirements
3–5+ years of experience in digital marketing or account management
Strong understanding of core digital channels: SEO, SEA/paid media, content marketing, analytics
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken form
Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for clients
Strong project management and organizational skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Analytical mindset and confidence in interpreting KPIs and performance data
Proactive, solution-oriented attitude
High level of client-facing professionalism and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
Experience in an agency environment (preferred but not mandatory)
Fluency in English and native German
Technical Knowledge
Maintain DAC system knowledge and PC skills necessary for the efficient and accurate completion of all tasks – knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook are critical
Knowledge and experience with various AI tools and prompting are a plus
