Security:

In line with security requirements for the concerned missions of this position, the candidate has to hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.

Requirements


A degree in Telecommunication engineering or in a similar subject Experience in Satellite Ground Operations Understanding of TT&C Ground Systems Understanding and usage of CCSDS ground and space link protocols (SLE, Cortex, NCTRS, etc) Experience working with networking protocols (TCP/IP, Internet, data and voice transport technologies) Knowledge in Radio Frequency Fluent in English, both in speech and writing German language skills would be an asset

Responsibilities


Prepare the ground operations network for different types of satellite missions (both internal and external) Provide routine operations support for flying missions' operational Mission Control Systems (MCS) Support and implement the further development of operational concepts for Ground Network systems Test and troubleshoot MCS/GSN interfaces Support 24/7 operations in critical phases of a mission (LEOP, IOT, relocation…) as NOC (Network Operation Center) Conduct performance analyses Generate anomaly reports Develop relevant documentation for the Ground Data System such as ICDs, Test plans and Test Reports Interface with multiple internal and external teams and partners
