YOUR TASKS
We are looking for a
Risk Manager
(m/f/d) to support an exciting HVDC grid connection project for an offshore wind farm, delivered in collaboration with our project partner — a leading German Transmission System Operator.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Develop a project-specific, needs-based risk management plan (including roles, risk identification, qualitative & quantitative analysis, risk response planning, and monitoring)
Facilitate, moderate, and document risk workshops and interviews (internally and with suppliers; aligned with project progress)
Identify, describe, assess risks, and define preventive and mitigation measures
Analyze and communicate risk interdependencies across subprojects and stakeholders; support communication between General Project Lead (GPL) and Project Leads (PLs)
Conduct quantitative risk analysis (cost and schedule impact; incl. Monte Carlo simulations via tools like Primavera Risk Analysis or @Risk)
Analyze risk criticality using tools like tornado diagrams and support CAPEX forecasts and scenario planning
REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE
Experience in project risk management of investment projects in the offshore and energy industry
University education with relevant technical or technical/economic specialisation
Several years of experience in quantitative risk management (e.g. Jedox, Primavera)
Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level)
Willingness to travel domestically – this is a remote role but flexibility to travel to Berlin for meetings is required
Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the EU, along with the outlined qualifications
