Ihre Aufgaben


The successful candidate will take over a key role in the group of Oncological Proteometabolomics, participating in a variety of tasks. This includes:

planning, management, and execution of research projects application for third party funding and the financial management of research grants hiring and supervision of technical personnel as well as Bachelor, Master and PhD students planning and execution of research projects dealing predominantly with topics related to lysosomes and proteomics performing of experiments and the analysis/visualization of the respective datasets and writing/publication of research articles.

Ihr Profil


A completed Ph.D. degree in (molecular/cell) biology, biochemistry, or a comparable field of study Strong experience in lysosome research, covering the following techniques/topics: cell culture, western blot, microscopy, lysosome-enrichment, co-immunoprecipitation of lysosomal membrane (associated) protein complexes Strong experience in cellular signaling with a focus on lysosomal processes and in the analysis of lysosomes by mass spectrometry-based proteomics approaches including quantitative proteomics and phosphoproteomics Strong communication, data visualization, presentation, and writing skills Excellent command of English, German language skills are of advantage Experience in the supervision of personnel and strong team player skill Ability to work independently Experience in third party funding applications, laboratory and financial organization/administration Freuen Sie sich auf
