the

Chair of Digital Cultures

offers a full-time position as

Research Associate/ PostDoc in Environmental Humanities

(m/f/x)
(subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L)


starting at the

earliest possible date

. The position is limited until December 31, 2026. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG).

Tasks:

contribution to grant writing developing research ideas and programs support in publications participation in conferences

Requirements:

university degree in any related field history of science, science technology studies, anthropology, geography, literature, and other possible fields intersecting with the call applicant must have a PhD in hand, or to be completed by August 1, 2025, in a related field strong background in relevant research areas experiences with grant writing and development preferred candidates with a publication record and experience with collaborative and interdisciplinary projects preferred. We are open to researchers experimenting with methods and mediums We encourage applications from under-represented groups. Applicants do not need to be citizens of the EU. Knowledge of German is appreciated but not required. The working language is English.
