Your responsibilities


Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.


develop and apply techniques to characterize and improve x-ray lenses develop new scanning X-ray microscopy modalities optimise analysis methods for 3D X-ray microscopy of crystalline samples investigate coherent diffraction on nanocrystals using highly convergent X-ray beams Your profile


A university degree in a relevant field. Physics or applied Physics.



Good knowledge of optics, metrology, X-ray physics, Fourier optics. Good programming skills in Python. Experience working with synchrotron or x-ray sources is desirable. Any experience with ptychography is advantageous.
