At the Faculty of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institute of Physics, working group "Physics of Surfaces and Interfaces", we are filling the following position at the earliest possible date on a temporary basis for a period of one year.

THESE ARE YOUR TASKS:

research in the field of biotechnology with the aim of scientific qualification (doctorate) scanning probe microscopy in physiological / cell culture media experiments and data evaluation graphical presentations deriving and discussing results fluorescent microscopy

THIS MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT:

completed academic university degree (state exam, diploma, master's degree or comparable degree) in biotechnology with at least very good results interest in interdisciplinary themes, o.g. interaction of live cells with functional surface structures knowledge of basics of natural or nanosciences, especially of interfaces, scanning probe microscopy methods very good knowledge (e.g. C1 level) of written and spoken English

The temporal limitation of the employment relationship is based on § 2 (1) Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz.



For budgetary reasons we can offer the employment only for one year. We aim to continue the employment for an additional two years.
