Why This Role Matters
As a Regional Demand Planner, you will be leading the demand planning processes and operations, by implementing a methodical & standardized forecasting approach for the responsible business area, using Machine Learning forecast as a base.
What You'll Do
Ensure that appropriate forecasting processes and methods are in place, standardized (One Goodyear Way), transparent and documented.
Provide a robust and fact-based 19 to 24-months rolling forecast for the area of responsibility. Be the market expert in forecasting and demand planning businesswise as well as systemwise.
Ensure alignment with business direction and consistency with market/ customer trends. Serve as liaison between Sales Operations, Product Marketing, Market Research Intelligence and Supply Planning.
Achieve continuous improvement of the accuracy of demand forecasts. Be responsible for champion new ideas and approaches.
Develop forecast mindedness and establish a general feeling of performance of one's responsible area.
What You'll Bring
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain related field.
Excellent analytical skills and understanding of forecast models and methods
PC literacy (SAP APO DP / EDW / MS-Office, in particular Excel)
Fluency in English
Ability and interest to work in international / multicultural environment
Core skills: decision making, influencing and leading, organizing and controlling, initiative, flexibility, effective communication skills, creativity, driving for results, building effective relationships with people at all levels, driving for change/ improvement, reliable, accurate and timely
Preferred Qualifications
University Degree in Supply Chain or related fields
Supply Chain knowledge
