Job Description

For our Service BPS department at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH in Göttingen, we are looking for a Project Manager (x|f|m) Global Service Strategic Portfolio for a fixed-term position of 1.5 years as parental leave cover. In this role, you will be responsible for management, execution, and administration all officially approved projects within the Bioprocess Solutions (BPS) service environment and shape the future with us. You will report the progress and current status of the project portfolio to the BPS Service Steering Committee. This position is available for full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Responsible for executing strategic, global projects and initiatives, as well as leading global programs Implement and monitor project management standards for the BPS Service Develop and maintain guidelines for project management (including standards and use of Clarizen, MS Project, etc.) Create and maintain templates and forms for project management on the BPS Service SharePoint Identify training needs for project management standards within the BPS Service Prepare training materials and offerings accordingly Provide operational support for project management tasks

What will convince us

Successfully completed degree with a focus on Business Administration or a similar field Excellent skills in Process Improvement (Six Sigma, Green/Black Belt, Agile, Product Owner), Project Management, and Change Management Several years of experience in leading projects and developing business processes Outstanding communication skills and the ability to translate specifications, discuss them with the team, and respond competently and professionally to customer requirements, including the ability to guide employees Self-motivation, conscientiousness, and reliability are key characteristics of your work style Work effectively under pressure and demonstrate strong time management skills Strong team player with experience collaborating in a global team Fluent English skills and willing to travel (approx. 20%) Identify with our values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment
